The Sparco Modern Cars Italian Absolute Rally Championship reaches its 71st edition: start your engines! The roaring beauties are ready to compete in the hills. Awaiting them is the prize-giving ceremony in the heart of Sanremo! From Thursday 17 to Sunday 20 October Sanremo will host the 71st Rallye Sanremo, valid as the last round of the Italian Absolute Rally Championship and for the European Rally Trophy, as well as for some national series. The ‘modern’ rally will have its scrutineering venue from Thursday 17 October in Piazza Colombo, while on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 October the seafront areas will host the service park and in Corso Imperatrice the start and finish stage will be positioned. The protagonists of the 39th Sanremo Rally Storico, which will have, among other titles, validity for the Italian Historic Car Rally Championship and the FIA European Historic Rally Championship, will meet in the same areas. The ‘historic’ race will get underway in the evening of Thursday 17 October with the sporting and technical scrutineering that will continue also the following day, to then turn on the competitive moment on Saturday 19 October and conclude the long rally weekend on Sunday 20 October on the platform located in Corso Imperatrice under the Casino.
