Guided tour of the Rezzo Sanctuary and tribute to Dante

A village nestled in the greenery of the Ligurian Alps Park, where you can stay in touch with nature, discover traditional flavors and admire the centuries-old art of stonemasons. Rezzo and its hamlets hide unexpected treasures to be discovered.
Explore the hamlet of Lavina and continue along the path along the Giara River, where you will discover striking bridges.
Reaching the village of Rezzo, you can visit the imposing Castle of the Marquis Clavesana. As you walk along the caruggi you will come across the many chapels, and if you enter the chestnut forest you will reach the Sanctuary of the Madonna Bambina, a splendid example of Romanesque art dating from the 15th century.
Driving along Via Marenca you will find the Sotto di San Lorenzo, a very ancient depression that still preserves traces of Neolithic men.
Be sure to discover the art of stonemasons in Cenova, another hamlet in the village, by visiting the Stone Roads Museum.
