1,000,000 flower petals invade the streets of the centre of Diano Marina. The Corpus Domini Infiorata is a traditional religious/folkloristic event, organised and carried out by the ‘Amici dell’Infiorata’ Group.
The programme of the festivity includes Holy Mass at 10.00 a.m. in the parish church of S. Antonio Abate followed, at about 11.30 a.m., by the solemn procession through the streets of the town centre, with the participation of the political and military authorities, the town’s lay and religious associations, the Confraternities, children who have recently received the sacraments of Communion and Confirmation, accompanied by the Music Band ‘Città di Diano Marina’.
In the afternoon, at 6.00 pm, Infiorata also in the hamlet of Diano Calderina by the ‘Amici di Calderina e Muratori’ group
