The splendid Villa is structured on three floors, the basement houses Nobel’s laboratory with photographs illustrating the history and technique of his main experiments, the various instruments he used, period objects and an area dedicated to the Nobel Prize winners; on the ground floor a conference room decorated with Pompeian-style frescoes; on the first floor the scientist’s study, the library, period furnishings and a further conference room.

On the second floor is Alfred Nobel’s bedroom furnished with authentic 19th-century furniture. The Villa is surrounded by a beautiful park of 6,000 square metres, and includes several valuable plants, including the very tall Cypress.
