Sanremo Summer Symphony

July 31

“GHEMON – UNA COSETTA COSI’”

“It’s not a concert, it’s not a theatrical monologue, and it’s not even a comedy show, but in part, a little bit of all of that.”

A show that reflects the personality of Ghemon, an artist who started from the hip hop world to build a unique style that mixes soul, rap and Italian music. An evening designed to offer the audience something different from what they already know through the artist’s music. A show made up of sharing personal stories to look at through the lens of irony, unreleased songs, unexpected covers and moments of deeper reflection. I mean, a little something like that.

The location: Sanremo

Home of the Italian Song Festival, famous for its movida that enlivens the city almost all year round: the liveliest events and places are experienced here. For those who love shopping, the ideal is Via Matteotti, the long pedestrian street that houses the Ariston Theater, where high-end international shopping is concentrated, as well as the new luxury outlet The Mall, located just outside the city center.

But Sanremo is also culture: the ancient noble palaces, the late 19th-century Russian Orthodox Church, museums, Fort Santa Tecla, Villa Ormond with its park full of exotic plants, and Villa Nobel, where Alfred Nobel, the inventor of dynamite and the creator and founder of the Nobel Prize of the same name, lived.

A tour of Pigna, the city’s primitive core, a labyrinth of alleyways and stone houses, is characteristic and evocative for those who want to discover the old part of the city without hurrying and enjoy the view from above.

On the other hand, for those who want to relax or play sports, there is no shortage of beaches, the Circolo Golf degli Ulivi and the Riviera dei Fiori Bicycle and Pedestrian Trail, which runs along the sea for more than 20 km offering breathtaking scenery.

Just a stone’s throw from the city is St. Romulus Hill, with its natural park, ideal for breathing in the fresh air and enjoying the green woods.
