Vele d’Epoca is an international event that has been attracting sea and non-sea enthusiasts, young and old, since 1986. The event is spread over several days, during which regattas and parades alternate on the sea. On land, however, there is no shortage of side events: fairs, exhibitions and guided museum tours.

At the weekend, the customary fireworks display on the harbour, with the lights reflecting on the sea in an evocative manner, is a must.

For over 30 years, Vele d’Epoca has managed to combine sport, elegance, tradition and spectacle, involving sailors, onlookers and enthusiasts. The first editions had few participants; today, the event is now an international event that has managed to become one of the most important historical regattas in the Mediterranean, attracting sailors from all over the world.

But it is not just about boats: it is an event that brings the whole city to life, from the port to the centre, the whole of Imperia seems to feel the beauty of its Ladies of the Sea.
